Well, this topic will gladly explain that and more so but in depth! The general history will be as barebones as possible with minor details and will be advanced further below, feel free to leave suggestions or questions or anything of the sort below! :|H I S T O R Y|: "These two were star struck lovers in their younger days being born in the Blackthorn legion. Being close when really young, they did everything together. Maul and Shroud were the closest two kits could be, even their parents were in good graces with one another so Maul and Shrouded becoming mates was a dream to be had! While yes, Shrouded was delighted to be with her beloved, but it was all too fast. Shrouded was indifferent of such a sudden wedding celebration devoted to their union. Blackthorn and other territories were elated of such a joyous pairing. Two of Blackthorn's most powerful were ready to take the helm and lead the legion. Their young would be magnificent both in prowess and intellect, they were the most ideal and enticing couple throughout the whole legion! Once the marriage was done and over with, the couple took a full moon to themselves, devoting their company to each other and before long Shrouded was carrying Maul's children. Later on in time, Shrouded began to feel lethargic, or even emotionally depressed. Not wanting to participate in her usual activities or favorite games with the kits and those warriors in training. Maul didn't pay much mind and assumed that to be normal for a mother-to-be, even Shrouded's parents dismissed it as such. What could've gone wrong? Well, no one in the legion foreseen this. After the weeks have passed, it was time to birth the kits. Shrouded birthed what seemed to be a healthy litter of kittens before something seemed off. An hour had passed since the kits were born and cleaned off of the residue that clung to their peach-fuzz body. The kits were suckling milk from their mother furiously, but that feeling settles down after a few moments, Shrouded guessed the kits were sleeping but the sudden still movement was rather worrying. Leaning over to check on them, they were still .. not even their stomachs expanded when they were breathing or making feebly mewls. Worry consumed her even more. She nudged the kits, she accidentally nosed one hard enough to flip it on its side, it just laid flat on its side on the ground. They were dead. All four of the kits were dead. Shrouded was mortified and yowled for Maul and her parents, who were also horrified at such a scene. Maul, his expression looked as if he shattered inside, his eyes were blank but coated with a layer of horror. He stumbled over his paws and rushed to comfort his mate, and also trying to comfort himself. After the death of their kits, Maul and Shrouded began to argue and verbally fight more. The once known as power couple was losing their spark, and their love had faded away. Eventually Shrouded told both Maul and her parents as well as his that a divorce was inclined or else Shrouded was bound to kill him with her own claws at this rate. Soon, Shroud got her wish and Maul along with his relations left Blackthorn and joined the forces of the name Terrainia, a region filled with vicious cats outside of the forest and along the Valley side. The night before Maul left, he visited Shroud's nesting area and apologized for all of the trouble and the loss of their kits. Genuinely apologizing for all of the strife his being in Blackthorn caused his lover, and after he had sincerely apologized he offered Shroud to come with him, to start anew and to maybe rebirth their love again. But Shroud vigorously declined, never again did she want to go through such misery. Not wanting to be rushed in something that should be cultivated and allowed to grow on its own through time. Not wanting to go through the struggle of being jealous of or idolized to harshly or peer pressured by Maul or either of their parents or even the lower ranks of the legion. Shroud wanted to be free. She wanted to be her own person. So she declined his offer and told Maul to never come back to Blackthorn if he is so eager of leaving. Leaving in such a huff, Maul marked his words that he and Shroud would meet again but in a fight to the death."With Shroud not being able to birth her own children, she's willing to adopt kits and raise them! Feel free to fill out the following information below if you have a kit character or an orphaned kit that still needs to be fully raised!
